Initial Certificate Holders
Teachers who do not have four years of Teaching Experience but Certificate is due for Registration

1. Complete ISBE 73-10 Certification Registration Form (please sign in both designated areas and answer all yes/no questions).
2. $20.00 personal check or money order made payable to ROE 17.

You can NOW renew online at Educator Certification System

1. Log into the Educator Certification System at www.isbe.net/ecs
2. Log into your private account (if you do not already have an account, select Create Account).
3. Once you are logged in, select Register Certificates

Important note: If registering certificate on the Educator Certification System, applicants must use a credit card. An additional $1.75 convenience fee will be charged for each credit card transaction completed in the Educator Certification System.

Teachers who have four years of teaching experience and have not met the required professional development and their certificate is due for registration:

1. Complete ISBE 73-93 Application for One-Year Reinstatement

2. $5.00 personal check or money order made payable to ROE 17.

We are no longer required to stamp the back of the certificates. All your official records will be at Educator Certification System! Please print your records from the website for your records.
